Checking in

Dear Family and Friends,
This is a quick check in to let you know how the weekend is going so far. So much in such a short time. We enjoyed Kallie so much last evening and then I took her home and she was so happy to see her daddy. Jason and Jo had a terrible commute lasting over 4 hours but finally arrived. They quickly went to bed and this morning we had Belgium Waffles and fruit. Then all to soon they were on the road again for Covelo where they are spending the weekend with friends. It was great to see Timothy and to play with him, listen to his expanding vocabulary and see him in action. It was hard to see them drive away. Seems life is just a series of saying good bye over and over again.
Marilyn and I went to Tracy SDA church and heard Pastor Jessica deliver an excellent sermon. She really is something and speaks to the heart in such a powerful way. Then Marilyn and I had lunch and came home to rest for a bit, watched some really talented kids on 3ABN. This evening we spent some pleasant time on Ray and Lois's back deck in the cool breezes. Now its coming to an end. Its been a good relaxing day and family, worship, beautiful moments all combine to feed the soul again and again.

When speaking to Jerry this evening he sadly reported that Suzie is weakening fast. She has fought a very valiant fight and soon she will be a peace. God bless her and give her peace.
