Dear Friends and Family,
Thats right, she just drove right down the road and left, off to see her friend Diane and hit the casinos, shocking isn't it. When I last heard she was up $60 so all is not lost.
I walked alone this morning and somehow by doing so it seems the distance is greater. Ken took the day off. After breakfast and a shower I left to visit a local ranch. It was one of those perfect places, huge main house with pool and great features, guest home which is larger than most homes, huge shop with many vintage chevy's being restored, barns, baby chickens, horses and 10 acres of space to spread out on. Now if I can locate comps for that one.
Then it was on to the next place. It poses a typical problem facing appraisers right now. Property has been updated with beautiful granite, hardwood cabinets, new interior paint, oversized site. Problem is comps stop at $180K and this one is selling for $215K with multiple offers. What is its real value? I'll solve that in the morning.
Since I was out I went to Applebees for lunch and one grilled cheese sandwich later I was again on the road. This time to the new Kaiser Hospital to visit a friend from the grief group who is battling for his life on about three levels. He is in for a couple days to get a lung infection controlled. What a pleasant person he is and he seemed thrilled to have a visitor. It was after I had seen the second house today that I discovered why the shorts I was wearing were so comfortable, they had a 3 inch seam rip down the side, yikes that was a special discovery.
This evening I picked up the girls, delivered Kallie to her daddy and then took Keanna to gymnastics and then to dinner. It was a nice evening. When she got in the car she was trying out a new expression she had picked up from school, none of your beeswax. She asked what it meant and said it over and over. When her daddy heard it he let her know it was not a great saying to throw around and but she did not give it up easily. Oh the joys of associating with all those ordinary kids at school, picking up all these new interesting phrases. Wonder what Keanna is sharing with other kids? Its just part of growing up.
Today was kind in that the mail lady had a check for me. Good thing since a couple big ones hit soon.
So tonight I'm sending you my best positive thoughts. What is your purpose for living? Have you considered it lately? Is it worth thinking about or shall we just drift along with the tide?
Love
Tim
