Keanna goes to Sabbath School

Dear Family and Friends,
For a day I just let the worries rest. Nikki called this morning to let me know Keanna had set her alarm, was up and looking forward to Sabbath School. I had walked the dogs around the park, showered and arrived to find the baby needing holding while Keanna finished up her breakfast. Well she actually completed it on the way to Tracy. Kallie was stretching and yawning, so cute and precious.
Kim led out in a very good Sabbath School as usual and then we stopped by Burger King for a combo lunch and playtime. There were many children there today which Keanna loves since she can organize them and lead them in their play. Finally she came and announced it was time to go so we did. She looked forward to seeing her friend Annie but that didn't work out. Last this afternoon Nikki called to see if LaVia sounded good, its a little Mexican place in Bethel Island with low low prices and excellent food. I rode in the back and got to watch Kallie sleep. She continued to sleep all the way through the meal. Keanna did a great job on her orange juice, rice and tortillas. Then back to their home and then to mine where I found the dogs were ready to greet me and tell me how boring it had been without me. This afternoon I tweaked the boat a bit and found it would start so I think its ready for an outing or at least nearly ready. Not sure if the battery is going to hold a charge or not. I have it charging again tonight.
I went to Safeway for milk and $79 later I came out with fresh fruit, vegetables, salad mix, beans and yes a gallon of skim milk.
In the morning I leave early to witness Clayton graduate at MBA and then I'll stop by Art and Connies to wish them well for their journey which begins on Monday. They plan to drive their clever little motorhome half way across the country and back. So far the water heater is refusing to make hot water which is a bit of a problem.
Its so good to see people at the Tracy SDA Church. Today Jim and Kaloa (sp) Miller were home and I've not seen them for years, got to see Wes Huffman who used to write clever little responses to the blog but is now on strike, wants a huge wage increase, double what he used to be paid. Also Bob Miller, Fern, Emily and Loren and many others as well.
Now its time to rest.
Thanks for being involved in our lives. It means a lot to all of us. I really enjoyed having dinner with Nikki, Keanna and Kallie tonight. It was a very special time to me and helps make sense out of a life that is sort off base sometimes since we all lost Nan. There is nothing like just being with people you feel safe with and love. The calls, the talks, the emails are all very precious.

Good night to all,

love

tim

Hi Tim,

Glad that You had such a good day with Your Family. Here's hopeing that the Boat will go without a new Battery and that You have a safe drive to Monteray.

Well I guess it's find a new Lawn Man again for Me. Our regular Guy called this morning to say that He is tired of all the driving and that We will need to find a new Yard Man. This after letting Our Yards go for 15 days with no attention and not even a call to say what He was doing. He does Mine and the Houses on either side of Us at the same time and has been doing a great job for about 3 years . What a Bummer. People are just not dependable any more. I think the Gas prices have something to do with His decision to call it quits. He drives a big Pickup and lives is South Stockton.

Maybe Roger could come out here with all of His "Energy" and mower and do it for Us !!

Tomorrow We leave after Lunch for Lake Tahoe. Just a brief 1 night stay but We are looking forward to it. Games,Food, Visit with Friends etc.

Have a good Day, Will talk to You again on Tuesday.

Bob & Carrol.

Hello again,
We're still here ~ just keepin' on keepin' on. Roger is doing quite well. He has spurts of energy then the next day isn't quite so energetic. He feels his Hgb is continuing to come up. We'll see on Wed.

Our interested party is returning tomorrow for a 2nd look. Good indication of interest at least. It has to start there. We are full this week and our "help" is keeping up with the work so far. They are a bit slow, but it does get done and we don't have to do it!

Glad you had a good family week end.

Love ~ Carol
