The family has arrived

Dear Friends and Family,
Its 11:12 and we are home and getting settled in. We located the coffee box with the various types of coffee which Sylvia purposely saved out for when Dana and Ronnie come to visit. The boys are getting used to their room and Jonathan has cranked the AC as low as it will go, he likes it cold.
Their plane was on time from Houston and amazingly all found seats in spite of flying on pink passes which are like standby tickets. Everyone arrived happy and ready to enjoy California.
This afternoon I drove down to San Jose and managed to be allowed into a gated golf course community to do a pre foreclosure appraisal on a very nice home. It was supposed to do my work from the street and not be seen and I think I managed it. Then I had just enough time to drive up to the airport.
How nice it is to have the house filled with loved ones and how Nan loved these moments when she could see her dear sister and they could catch up. There is nothing fair about the loss but there is the need to accept and be at peace with it. Having Dana and family here is a very nice addition to life and I'm so thankful that they still allow me to be a part of the family even though Nan is gone.
Tomorrow is the final day to make the house payment and it is looking good as more money came in the mail today, almost enough to cover the house payment and I feel blessed and humbled but the manner in which God cares for all of us.

So now its bed time and I'm ready to sleep. For once it is not alone, there are people in all the bedrooms. Only someone who has been alone for awhile will appreciate how special this time is, you sort of get used to just being alone where nothing matters, no one cares and you just make your own way during the day. For the next couple months things are different, wonderfully so.

love to all

tim
