Marilyn is here

Dear Family and Friends,
As long last Marilyn has arrived. We got back to the house about 1 this morning and by 2 I was asleep. Then at 6:30 I got up and walked with Ken. Then back for a quick breakfast and over to pick up Keanna. Marilyn stayed with Nikki and Keanna and I went to Sabbath School. Then to lunch at the old Olive Garden and then Keanna went to a birthday party and Marilyn and I came home to rest up a bit. Marilyn just prepared a yummy dinner with sheet, french bread, fresh apples, peaches, nectarines and strawberries. It was a feast. I have a loaf of bread baking and I think we'll both turn in early tonight to continue the catching up process in rest.

I am certainly pleased and appreciative of the ladies that make the Sabbath School work so well in Tracy. They are there week after week always prepared and do a great job of leading out for the little ones. What a great first impression these little ones will have of the church, Jesus and our Heavenly Father.

Tomorrow I plan to ask for Marilyn's help with sorting papers and getting ready for the next phase of the tax process. I have an appraisal locally at 10:30 which I will get written soon and then on Monday I have an appointment in Livermore to see a property. For these things I am thankful.

I appreciate the messages that are written to the blog and the personal ones too. I'm looking forward to meeting our friend in Benicia one of these days and I'm always very pleased to hear from Bob and Carrol and Roger and Carol.

So I bid you a peaceful goodnight. Love to my precious children, their children, to our extended family and to our friends who mean so much.

love

tim

Hello Tim,

I just got caught up on the blog for the last few days! It looks like God is continuing to provide for your needs one day at a time with no extra in between. Isn't He amazing! He is always faithful to provide our needs.

We survived the week! And oh what a week we had! Chris cleaned 9 cottages last week ~ 2 of which were long term residents who were not very clean. The mound of laundry was unreal! With of all of us working together we got through it and Chris hasn't quit yet!!! She has 10 days now before she has to clean another one. Most of these renters are staying for at least the month. Oh so much easier!!! We only have the laundry to pick up 2x a week for awhile. Chris is such a blessing! Ah ~ an adult with brains!

Your house is no longer empty! Help has arrived again! Marilyn has been such a blessing to both you and Nan for the last couple of years. Don't work her too hard ~ she'll go home again before she's finished sorting and filing. She always seems to find some hidden treasures when she sorts through the stacks. Maybe this will be the case this time.

We intend to take a deep breath this week and maybe do something fun like go to DollyWood. We'll see how that works out. We do need to catch up from last week though.

Keep up your courage and don't give up on that weight loss program. You didn't get it all in a year. You probably won't get it all off in a year either.

Take care ~
Love ~ Carol

Well, I've had a great weekend with family around me constantly from Friday eve. and continuing now. Kids will leave in a little while and then it will be quiet again. We are just back from the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield, a great tour for kids if you ever get a chance to take your grands there. Glad things are going well for you and you have company. Enjoy! I hope we can meet someday when you have an appraisal in Benicia; just let me know and we can meet for coffee or lunch. Take care! Deborah

Hi Timmy, Well, I just got caught up on reading your blogs that you sent out while we were at the Redwood campmeeting. The Redwoods are soooo beautiful and the weather was soooo perfect! We drove through the the tree and did some other sightseeing.
Weight Watchers will be a good thing and not so expensive and you can use regular food. You should like it.
Happy to hear that Marilyn has arrived safely. We have a shot glass for her son-in-law from Alaska. We need to figure out how she can get it.
Our grass looks sad. Big brown blotches in several places. The sprinklers must not be doing their job. And Gerry is anxious to get his car cleaned up. It is really covered with dirt! That road into the camp ground is frightful! Curvy, narrow, steep drop offs and one lane!!Never failed, we always met a car going the opposite way. But what a beautiful setting after we got down to the camp grounds. We bought a bunch of books so now we will have to do some reading.
Take care and greetings to Marilyn. Love, Barbie
