Winter closes in on Northern California

Good evening
I'm just in from the club and the workout went really well. When I can get there every other day things work better, I make more progress and in my case progress is good. I can tell a big difference in my ability to move, to lift, to push or pull, basically I'm regaining some long lost strength. Frankly its rewarding to feel the progress.
Today started without a walk since the wind was whipping around and the rain was falling pretty hard this morning. I had the chance to have breakfast with Steve and that was great. I am so proud of my son in law, he is just an amazing guy who can do just about anything he sets his heart on doing.
After breakfast I left for Stockton using the levee road. My little car was buffeted with winds and rain. Yet I arrived just 5 minutes late to a nicely updated house in a quiet neighborhood. The rains had nearly stopped and I measured quickly. The agent had the house open and was very sweet to work with. After completing the inspection and comp selection I drove to another neighborhood. The order for the second property had just come in this morning from New Jersey and it only needed a driveby so in spite of the rain it went fine.
I worked in for the first part of the afternoon and then Keanna had a special awards program for Girl Scouts where they were awarded petals for their sash. It was cute and Keanna enjoyed it a lot.
Then after a quick snack at McDonalds we came home to do her homework. Soon her mother arrived to pick her up and then the house resumed its tomb like stance. I worked for awhile and once 5 pm came I just had to see the results of the race for the senate in Mass. Having lived in Boston for a couple months it holds special interest for me. Of course I was thrilled to see Scot Brown win the election and I was reminded that there are special emotions that go with winning and losing. Tonight was the winning ones for me and losing ones for others. Its just the way the democracy we all love works. I sincerely hope that the ill advised health care bill can be stopped cold and that something more moderate and with fewer taxes can be arrived at. We will see.

So now I'm heading to bed, tired, sore and contented. Orders are coming out of the walls right now for which I am very thankful.

Love to all,

Tim

PS A message from Nikki for Keanna. I can so well remember Nikki and Jason selling things for school projects just a few years ago!

Dad, can you mention this on your blog?
Thanks,
Nikki
